This Privacy and Data Protection Policy outlines the ways in which we process the information and data that is collected from you in the context of providing our services. Data and information that you provide to us when you submit a request to contact us or schedule an appointment. This includes data and information that you provide to us via our contact form, appointment scheduling platform and/or email. The data and information you provide to us may include your full name, e-mail address, telephone number and any accompanying notes or information.

 

How we use your personal data

Your personal data is collected and used in the course of carrying out our activities, which involve the provision of mental health, psychotherapy and counselling services.

Your personal data is not used for any purpose other than those described in this Privacy and Data Protection Policy. Under no circumstances do we transfer your personal data to third parties.

Legal basis for processing

 

The processing of your personal data is based on the legitimate interests of the company and is in strict proportion to your rights and interests.

 

2. Storage of your personal data

Security

We take every measure to ensure the protection of your personal data, including security measures against the loss of your personal data and unauthorized access to it by third parties. We restrict access to your personal data only to designated employees of the company, who are subject to a duty of loyalty, confidentiality and discretion.
We also have procedures in place in the event of a suspected or proven breach of the security of your personal data. In this case, we will inform you within 72 hours.

Unfortunately, the transmission of data over the Internet is not completely secure. Although we take every measure to ensure the security of your personal data, we cannot guarantee that it remains secure from the moment you submit it to the moment it is received by us. Therefore, the secure transmission of data is at your own risk.

Storage

Your personal data is transmitted over secure connections and stored on secure servers. Submitting your personal data constitutes acceptance of its transfer to servers outside the EU.

Retention period of personal data


Your personal data is retained for a period of two (2) years from the date of submission.
Your personal data will be deleted if you send a written request for their deletion to info@vasilisapostolou.gr
 
3. Your rights

Under the European General Data Protection Regulation, you have a number of rights. These include:
 

  •  Access to your personal data.

  • Delete your personal data.

  • Receiving your personal data in a structured, electronic format and sending it to third parties.

  • Refusal of processing of your personal data for informational purposes.

  • Refusal of ongoing processing of your personal data.

We are obliged to inform you of the progress of your request within 30 days of its submission. In case your request does not fall under Greek or European data protection law, we reserve the right to refuse to comply with it.

4. Protest

We are at your disposal to answer any of your questions and/or your concerns. However, the European General Data Protection Regulation gives you the option to submit a complaint with your local data protection authority (Data Protection Authority).
